A while back I was trying to find a methodology to frame and hang a poster outside over my kitchen. @Photo Egg had offered to laminate it for me....and then @HeavyG provided info that the poster had significant value. I them moved to an alternative plan, and came up with this....

Well the postman (lady) dropped off a package for me yesterday. Interestingly I had ordered this back over the holidays and had forgotten about it. These pieces take about 4-5 weeks to patina before then can add the finish to them. At any rate, I have now added the curved piece to complete my wall decor.

To celebrate, I have pasted the Allman Brothers acoustic version of "Come on in my Kitchen" for the occasion.  Want you listen and toast one with me. Flat Iron steak for dinner tonight......Y'all have a great weekend.

    Lovely. You must have a lot going on if you forgot you ordered that. I would have been waiting by the door every day for that to get dropped off. What a great set up.

    Robin, wish I were there for the official breaking in and comissioning of your outdoor kitchen. Very nice set up and very well thought out. I will second the comment about great music.

    If there is one thing I have learned about you, the thought and passion you put into any goal, always exceeds expectations.

    Beautiful addition, and I hope you enjoy it for many, many cooks to come.

    Yet another example of why I think the Fit Bit is much like this forum;
    Everytime I look at the Fit Bit, I see what a loser I am as it tracks my exercise vs my own expectations and the forum shows me what a loser I am when I view all of these beautiful outdoor spaces, and I got a concrete pad with an XL in a nest, and a MM on a table.

    I will toast you today, and congrats my friend.

    Yes...happy to. Note, I had the stock ones on their website doubled in size for my application....which did the same to the price. Overall for what they did, I felt the quality price value was very good. My contact was Jennifer, who was a real pleasure to work with.

    Ron, you are anything but a looser. We are all in different places in our lives. I would love to have a new kitchen like yours with wine frig etc. It's just this weeks project. It also helps to have a wife who is an artist.....though she didn't have much to do with this one except complain when I ordered / hung the additions without her involvement. A fool would make that type of mistake....not one who would rely on their beautiful wife for input. None of this by the way makes the food taste any better.

    Peace brother....and enjoy your weekend.

    I offered to copy and duplicate your poster so you would not have to display your original. Would not want to hurt the value of the original by laminating it.

    Yes you did.....and that prompted this outcome. Haven't got the poster framed yet....but do have the frame picked out and priced. I have been re-painting our downstairs....and have just the place to hang it. In the near future my friend.
