Used it twice. Worse **** I've ever used. It was tiny and broken and all rounded up like it was tumbled in s moving kiln.YukonRon said:
I would be interested in getting some to try out. Carbon Del Sur packages the same type of lump, and it is not bad at all, for $12.00 a bag. It is not Rockwood, but, it is pretty decent.HofstraJet said:I work in Miami. Will see if I can find any of it at the port when it lands.
If my math is right, cost is $4.25/20# bag. Wonder what retail would be.
Smoke was worse than cowboy! Hope I just had a bad 3 bags a few years ago.

So you use American charcoal, on your Mexican grill, and tell us about it with your Chinese computer/phone/tablet.DoubleEgger said:
I buy Rockwood exclusively. Made in the good ol' USAHungry Joe said:DoubleEgger said:Looks like another crappy trade deal to me. We are paying 10-20% more than established market price. I wonder what government official is getting rich off of this deal.
Think it's high now? Wait until a 20% import tax is tacked on......
It's a crazy world we live in ain't it?

My luck is not like yours. But, 3 years ago, I supposed it sucked. The last bags I had, we're vastly different than what you said.FATC1TY said:

Just as a point of reference, it is $0.29/# more expensive than RW from Firecraft. That price is for a 33# bag.YukonRon said:

Pretty sure if the 20% tariff is imposed, the supplier will make a better deal to move this stuff. It is an invasive species that they have to erradicate in some way. Making a few $$$ beats costing $$$. This deal to bring it to the US had the importer paying a record price to the supplier for the product. Bet that will not be the case for long.Hungry Joe said:DoubleEgger said:Looks like another crappy trade deal to me. We are paying 10-20% more than established market price.
