Which basically means, someone shot you from a distance. As opposed to "a bullet fell on you"

This is why a football is thrown with a spiral, and barrels are rifled

Yep, saw that yesterday.  I guess somebody watched Mythbusters and just didn't pay close attention.  

Or they're an idiot.  One of those.
