  • I threw in my own little various but for the most part I followed this.  Make sure you toast the pecans before putting them in the pie, this is key!

  • @ScottyTooHotty looks so good! My favorite pie. How did the bottom of your crust turn out? I've had some scorching issues with my pie crust. Do you have the pie raised?

    @ShesGotEggs ; If you have issues with the bottom scorching, put your pie on a double-walled sheet or pan.  The double wall slows down the heat transfer.

    Very, very nice.  Pecan pie and peach cobbler.  That's all I need in the way of deserts.
