Nice!“There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body.”

Very nice pies.Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

I threw in my own little various but for the most part I followed this. Make sure you toast the pecans before putting them in the pie, this is key!Doylestown - Pennsylvania -
@ScottyTooHotty looks so good! My favorite pie. How did the bottom of your crust turn out? I've had some scorching issues with my pie crust. Do you have the pie raised?
-
@ShesGotEggs If you have issues with the bottom scorching, put your pie on a double-walled sheet or pan. The double wall slows down the heat transfer.

@ShesGotEggs I line the pie pan with crisco. The pie literally falls out of the pan.
