Sorry. Probably a hockey reference right?

I love my wife! Had to take a picture of my haul this year:
Got the FB200 set up in in less than five minutes. Don't have anything to cook today, but I may just fire up the egg for the fun of it!
Next week: chili in my new enameled cast iron Dutch oven!
Then since it was such a nice day here in NJ, I opened it up and we had pizza for dinner:

If you do, no need to 'splain. If you don't, you prob'ly wouldn't care.

I got a back camera license plate with sensers and screen from the wife. The in law's gave me Royals light that I am not sure about yet for my man cave that I have been working on for the last year and will probably never be finished so there is no where to hang it. The gifts are nice, but I was going for BBQ stuff. I will post photos later if it is worth it, still not sure what to think of either of them yet. Did get myself and the kid a drone to play with.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.

Also got some ammo, an Amazon Echo, Excalibur 3900 and an outdoor Nest Cam

I got quite a good haul this year, but these are 2 of my favorites. My Dad brought me the personalized rum bottle back from Barbados (1/2 price refills when you bring the bottle back), it is VERY good. The revolver cylinder is a pen holder from my wife. I just started a new job as an electrical instructor at the college here, and I need cool stuff for my desk...I'd say she nailed it.

The Shun Classic Rocking Knife is the ideal tool for mincing herbs, garlic, shallots, or finely chopping a wide variety of foods, for example, tomatoes for sauces. It is an exceptional tool for mincing herbs to fully release their flavor. Similar to a mezzaluna, the cook rocks the deep-bellied blade across the cutting board to produce a fine mince. The extra-wide blade also serves as a convenient way to scoop up the minced food for easy transfer to the cooking pot or pan. The deep belly of the Shun Classic Rocking Knife also makes it an excellent tool for removing skin from chicken or fish.
Nakiri is simply Japanese for "vegetable knife." Once you get the Shun Classic Nakiri in your hands, you'll soon see why both professional chefs and good cooks around the world choose this beautiful and extremely useful tool whenever they have fruits or vegetables to prepare. With its straight blade, edge, and spine, the nakiri isn’t rocked like a chef's knife. Instead, use a simple push cut and enjoy the clean, swift work it makes of vegetables of all kinds. For daily salad preparation or slicing vegetables for stir-fry, it can't be beat. Finely dicing onions is fast, easy, and with the Shun Classic Nakiri’s blunt end, safer, too.

No Wifi on the DigiQ......have to go old school with a baby monitor for sound, or you can set up a web cam to watch it. Or if you're not worried about her getting ticked, return it and get a FB for under $100 more.
