was 2 here this morning and 52 indoors with the coal stove going AND the boiler running, really strong winds coming off the lake. thats with shutting the storms, insulating the sills with rolled up towels, and closing half the house down. i dont mind the cold, but that wind was awful blowing thru the house. still it was toasty sitting in my winged back chair in front of the fire with an iced down glass of rye last night no frozen pipes was a big plus

I think it was 75F iin phoenix yesterday and itll only hit mid 60s due to the rain...thisnw this weekend we do get hit with cold blast so i need to bring in the basil plants..

This is my weather station on Weather Underground . Last night 7F with a feels like of 0F .Oil just jumped to $2.04 per gallon ,sucks.
Doing a prime rib this evening for girlfriend and me . One good thing about the cold is egg cools down fast and I can get it covered fast .Snow coming in about 10 pm .

I'm used to the heat but it would be nice to have some seasons. Would love some 20-30 degree weather but I won't be greedy. I'll take 50 too.

It was in freeze my arse off temps this morning; but, the Eggs are smoking just fine. Stay warm everyone!  Maybe Florida will share its warmth with the rest of us soon.
