@Wolfpack -  I have never had the PVW 23  but of all the others I think the 15 was the best of the group.  Now you can't find the stuff around here.
I remember when the 10 year was almost always on the shelf, the 12 for a good 8 months of the year and the 15 for at least about 4-5 months.  Then the marketeers got wise and we all got screwed.
I will likely never own another PVW once I enjoy the 12 on the shelf.  And life goes on.  FWIW-

Agree- I've had it a lot for work dinners but this one is the only one I have owned. Buddy of mine had a friend in SC that owned a liquor store and I ended up with this bottle for $100.  Its distinctive but mainly because (in my opinion) it's a higher proof- i really like the flavor but....

Weather got bad so a fistful of Makers tonight. (That is southern gentlemen talk for ice and fill it to the top). 

Im starting to see from this thread why everyone is such a **** in the morning and this place becomes a lot more lively around 8-9pm.

I was out with the family the day after Christmas and we went to dinner were I had Woodford Reserve Double Barrel, good stuff.  We then went to a bar near by and I wanted to try Blanton's,but they were out.  I had something else, I can't remember what and it was just OK.  Now I have to find a bottle of Blanton's.

I'll be giving that a try tonight, sounds interesting. For now I need to go put on the Sorel's and fire up the snowblower. I also have the driveways to do of a couple of friends that are battling cancer.
