Drink some more bourbon Ron.  Then maybe your pics will come into focus.

Turkey dinner empanadas with a spicy cranberry balsamic reduction.

    The ingredients

    On the egg

    Done

Turkey, dressing, mashed taters and giblet gravy inside empanadas with cranberry relish, balsamic and red pepper flakes sauce.
Hot pockets? How long did that take in the BGE microwave?

All impressive so far, but Jason's got my vote. Love me some empanadas.

Lol, I am the worst with a camera. Plus I lost my glasses. I think they are next to the bourbon.

Oh my. The CGS Hamilton is drifting further from my grasp. Besides, who goes empanadas after a traditional mercun Thanksgiving? Empty glass, brb.

like I said earlier I don't qualify for the competition because I did stove top turkey soup (celery, onions, carrots, rice).  Made a side of mac and cheese.  Wow wow wow.  Family happy.  One said, "the soup is better than the turkey dinner last night."

Here's the simple mac and cheese.  I topped it with panko and grated parm regianno (sp?) and broiled it for the final few minutes.

Not hot pockets. Couldn't figure out how to make those silver packets from scratch.

I am headed for a great Friday LEO trip but I am quite sure the parameters are T'day leftovers not the main event.  And we all have a while to fire up the non-bourbon infused ingenuity and post-up.  I have no idea my landing zone but it is shaping up to be a fun ride.

@JohnInCarolina -  approaching for sure.  House rule-no brown water consumed out of the house.  All good here and I could pass a keyboard test-just not with any speed or initial accuracy.  =)

My stuff represents all left overs warmed up and modified for serving. No cheating here. Biscuits were from extra mashed potatoes, just saying.

I made the egg rolls by hand from wheat flour extracted from yesterday's dinner rolls.  Not sure if I mentioned that.

That is impressive. Guess I just have to go back and watch the number one rated college basketball team win another major curb stomping against whoever.

Entry number two would be vanilla ice cream under the same cranberry balsamic reduction

Bonus points if it is homemade ice cream.

And there I was trying to figure out how to boil water and now some rocket scientist rolls in with ice cream.  I may need a few more orbits to get all this sorted out, or not.  ;)

Well, it wasn't homemade ice cream and the egg wasnt involved, so I guess it wasn't an actual entry. However, the cranberry relish, balsamic, red pepper and vanilla. Holy hell.

Cranberry balsamic reduction? Man that sounds so fancy! @theyolksonyou wins, game over. Wish I had leftovers to beat you fools with. You'd see my world famous sandwich, where I pile the entire thanksgiving meal on sourdough plus lettuce tomato and bacon.

Ok, it's not famous at all, but it tastes ok :)

and im still wondering how JIC made a dinner roll into an eggroll. Must be some kind of scientist.
