    Great pics.  Thanks for sharing.

@DoubleEgger, tell your wife that a guided snowcat ride through Yellowstone in the winter is the single most educational and amazing experience our family has ever had.  And we've been to Africa twice, the Galapagos, Yosemite, Alaska and other places.  But you do have to dress appropriately and give yourself about 2 days to get used to the cold.  Go to the local ski shop and ask them how to dress for the weather you are going to be exposed to - and follow their advice.

I would suspect it's awesome. The wife hates the cold. I'll go with some friends if she's that adamant about not going in the winter.

@DoubleEgger - my wife also hates the cold, I swear she's solar powered. But ... we have a plan to do Yellowstone in the snow Jan 2018, and this was her idea. So maybe worth asking the question, especially after I put up the pictures of our experiences with just a little snow.

@YukonRon - thank you for those kind words, we're back in Yellowstone June 2017, maybe we'll see you there.

The next set of shots of Yellowstone, from days #2 and #3 when it snowed (yes, in early September), should be ready this weekend.
My Beautiful Wife and I were in RMNP,  about 9000 ft, and had snow the second week of July, in 2014.

Beautiful pictures.  Yellowstone is my favorite place - and I am very fortunate to be able to visit there 3 or 4 times a year.  Depending on the time of year and the time of day, you'd be amazed at how different it can look.  During my last visit, a wolf ran across the road right in front of my SUV.  It was spectacular.

Wow the pictures are awesome.  I too enjoy the great park of Yellowstone a couple times a year and can say as many times as I have been there the next is just as awesome.  The last time I rode through it on a Can-Am Spider, WOW. Thanks for sharing

4 years later, these pictures are still amazing.  I actually thought they were new, just saw October in the date, then I saw @Little Steven had responded.

Glad you enjoyed them. A trip to Yellowstone will knock at least one of your missing states off, if not two. :D

We used a Canon 80D with a variety of lenses. For the wildlife mostly a Sigma 150-600mm, for the landscape shots a Tamron 28-300mm.
