It only took 2 seconds for Auburn to beat my Tigers and get our coach fired.  Thanks, we needed that!

    Auburn did not beat them. Auburn cheated them and got every lucky call in the book just like in every other game that they have ever played. Auburn does not have one legitimate win to their sorry name.

    The grass isn't always greener.. Maybe your AD will choose a winner, but for us UF fans it's been a long hard road since Urb decided to leave. I have a hard time
    understanding how many lesser schools have such good coaches. I know it's a different situation but Miles has been consistent with good winning seasons...

    I've had the pleasure of meeting Les 2x here in Atlanta.  They had a kid playing center that my mother taught in the 4th grade. Good kid. Les is a great guy. Hate to see this happen.

    That's the truth. College football has grown to a point that there is very little difference in talent in coaches and players. Even at division 2 the talent is there.

    @SGH I had to disagree with you, even if you are one of my very favorites. But don't worry, it's going to be a looooong season for us, and I imagine we'll join LSU in looking for a new coach at the end of the year. Ah well, War Eagle!!!

    By now every coach in the conference knew what Miles would call on the play. Their game plan was to play Miles, not the team.  Heck, I'm just a fan with only limited knowledge of football, but I could still predict well over 50% of his calls.

    And to think Auburn was only a second away from putting yet another fired coach on the payroll for the next few years. It wouldn't be Auburn unless they have at least one ex coach they're still paying.
