OT- Sam's Club or Costco

Costco. They take better care of their employees and it shows in their service and the way the store is maintained. I really like the prime grades available at Costco, although Sam's meat is not bad.
Also, Sam's is Walmart.

Hands down Costco. We have both but will drop Sam's at the next renewal. Costco - cleaner, nicer, their visa rewards card is great too.
-
Both. Exec membership at Costco and we get a check back each year that covers the cost+
If I had to pick only one, it would be CostcoLove you bro! -
Go to both. SAMs local and drive 60 miles for Costco (Where our son went to school ). Costco is cleaner, better product (Kirkland), and meat is better imo. Prime brisket, chicken, and ribs hard to beat. Rewards program is excellent. If we get a Costco here which is rumored, will drop our SAMs membership, although their large cheese packages are great for smoking !

Costco for sure.
The Kirkland brand is really, really good. I haven't been disappointed with any of their branded products. The meat quality and prices are great. Not mentioned above is their return policy. If you don't like it, or it breaks, they don't ask questions and take whatever it is back and they treat you like kindly. They're like the Chic-Fil-A of the big clubs.Strongsville, OH

Costco
We eat a lot of organic stuff and Costco leans that way a little more than Sams. Every time I have gone in for a Prime Packer - they have it.
Also, they do everything they can to keep the customer happy. I bought and assembled a greenhouse purchased at Costco. It was up for a few days and we got some wind and rain. It mostly fell apart. I loaded it up in a pickup and wheeled that thing back in there. It was covered in mud and grass, still partially assembled. They took it back no questions asked.
Also, watch the documentary on walmart. You will never want to go there again.

Costco, no question about it. I got a Sam's club membership for free a few years ago, rarely use it.
-
We used to be members of Sam's when we lived in a different location. At the time we liked it. Then we moved to Lancaster, PA, and were a little apprehensive about Costco but it has proven to be far better than Sam's with a much nicer staff of workers and better return policy. We are also members of BJs and also like it. I think the 2 are complimentary. We take roadtrips often and look for Costco or BJs for gas purchases as we go. This has saved us a lof of money over the years.

Both. I like the dog food at Costco and some of the meat. Sams for sundries and snacks and such, plus Sam's has business hours if you can get the business membership so you can be in at 7am before the crowds. For big events I go online and have them pick my orders so I just need to grab a float and leave.

Another vote for Costco. The wine selection is another big plus. Even the Kirkland wines are pretty decent at a price which is pretty hard to beat.

Having been a long time customer of Sam's and a recent convert to Costco, my vote goes to Costco. It's clean, friendly and the meat is so much better than Sam's Club. I never was able to get Prime anything in Sam's.

I've had Costco and Sam's Club memberships. I went to Sam's over Costco 9 times out of 10. Just because of location. Costco was an extra 10 minute drive. My Sam's Club carries bone-in pork shoulder and brisket. Costco only had boneless shoulders and no brisket.

I use Sam's because it's closer. I think Costco has a larger selection of items non food related. Currently, Sams has a scan and go app. It's tied to your credit card. You scan the item with your phone as it goes into the cart and you check out that way. Just show your phone receipt at the door. NO LINES!!!! Very nice when you need to run in real quick. Can't scan booze though.
Next time I'm by my Costco I'm going to ask for a day pass as it's been a while since I have been in there.

All companies that responded condemned the mistreatment of workers. Costco said it was investigating. Wal-Mart, which owns Sam’s Club, declined to comment.

Costco and BJ's for us. Used to also have a Sam's Club membership for a couple of years many many years ago but we decided...Walmart...so we quit.
Of Costco and BJ's I much prefer Costco but we keep the BJ's membership because it is only a few miles away.“Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.” ― Philip K. Diçk -

Costco. I worked there for 5 years during school. They have half the stores and do double the business. It's easy to see why as a member and employee.
