I'm not south, either, but as I posted with pictures yesterday, Costcos in suburban Chicago had nothing but prime, all at 2.99 / lb.

Never in Cumming as you know, only flats.  Then they'll sell us prime ribeye roasts!  Hard to understand.  Except the prime ribeye roast rotting/ sorry, aging away.  It does look special and I'd take It over your coveted brisket

Cap, expensive option that seems ridiculous when living in a major metro area!  Still, it's the case.

@bgebrent -  Roger all- and can sympathize.  I can give you years of "how to tackle flats" history in around 10 days or so-may help spread out the SRF buys.

Does anyone know if the Memphis, TN locations sell Prime brisket?  I am passing through there tomorrow and might stop in to pick up a couple or 3 if they do.

Plano, TX Costco 2.99 lb USDA Prime.  
Tulsa, OK Costco 3.69 lb USDA Prime.
When the Tulsa store opened up last spring the Prime brisket was 2.99, but they soon raised the price because SAMs is 3.44 lb for Choice.  I have a Prime brisket in the Egg now for a overnight cook.

You guys are really lucky!  In the city all we get are flats.  SRF brokers the difference.

$2.89 lb USDA Prime briskets at the Costco in Austin up by the Arboretum. Picked one up today.

I've never even seen whole packers in Costco here in the PNW until yesterday.  Picked up a Prime for $2.79/lb in Salem, OR.

I happily update this after @tikigriller told me the Costco in Livermore, CA has brisket I went there today. 2800 Independence in Livermore has prime whole brisket and choice flats. 45 minutes drive, worth it, meat department said we can ask other local Costco stores to order and they might be able too.

I grabbed 3, 2 for me, 1 for a coworker.
