Thanks to Gord and all members of the Tragically Hip.
They have been part of my life for last 25 years and I'm sure I am not the only one that shed a tear watching their last performance tonight. Thanks also to CBC for providing an experience of a lifetime!
Greatest Canadian band ever!

Never a real Hip fan, but damn them guys can play. (Miss the old Lakeview Manor in my home town - the Hip played there a lot as did Seger and George Thorogood in my "college days")
A great Canadian and songwriter, Best wishes for the road ahead Gord Downie.

"Courage" was released when I was a senior in college. It got a lot of airplay down here, and introduced me to them. I have enjoyed their music ever since.Louisville, GA - 2 Large BGE's

Interesting that here in the USA we have Olympic athletes that are vain, embarrassing, and to put it mildly; lacking of integrity.
Yet in Canada they have rock stars who's despite the worse news have humility that uplifts an entire nation.

They have been here many times but I have never seen them in concert. I did however meet them one night at a pool hall(billiards). I almost knocked a tray of drinks out of Gords hands. Myself and my buddies were playing next to them for over an hour around 1am one night and never noticed them till we were leaving. Apparently they left the bartender a 200 dollar tip.Hows ya gettin' on, me ol ****?Kippens.Newfoundland and Labrador. (Canada).

Have seen them live a few times. Have had them playing on Google Music the last few days just to take in some of their craft.
