Good to hear your appetite has returned as well! By the looks of your food so far they must serve better and more appealing meals than hospitals used to! Back the - it was always assumed they fed you tasteless, ugly meals as an incentive to get out of there!

The only time I eat in our cafeteria is Thanksgiving, and X-mas, when it's free.

We are just getting home and I'm doing my best to get better and adjust to some changes (hopefully temporary one's). Fellow Eggheads it truly saddens me to say this but, I will not be egging until my health allows. Thanks for the laughs and kind words. No egging pics from this guy for now. Cheers. Blake.

@NPHuskerFL - I will start this with "Health comes first" so I can understand where you are.  That bit of news truly $ucks.  I know you will overcome this challenge but  what a friggin deal.  Stay strong and surely with your BGE skill set you can figure out how to comply and still play with fire.
Here's to getting beyond this in expeditious fashion.  Best of luck-no egging does not preclude you from the thread-worthy posts that you are famous for.

@lousubcap We pray I beat this and come out on top. I wouldn't just lose egging I'd lose a career that I've been doing over 26 yrs. 
This has been a soup sandwich of a thing. I'm above ground sans toe tag so, I'm trying to stay positive. Thanks.

I know exactly what you feel like about losing your job. When I lost my medical card to drive truck it sucked bad. But like you I'm a fighter, so while you are laid up stars looking for that food truck you want to open. Remember we found ours down there in Florida so your 1 step ahead already!

I was going to offer to smuggle a minimax into your ICU room and hook it up to your ventilator circuit, thinking the sweet smell of smoke might revive you.  HOWEVER it sounds like your lungs do NOT need extra smoke, and you are out of the hospital.  So we'll offer up a toast to your recovery and health instead!
