Picked up a fairly new Vision Pro, just to have another...I could have got it for 275, but gave her a little extra...first thing I did was high temperature silicone the obvious leaks ( I'll clean it up later)...it's a bit larger than a large BGE .I think the damper system is hideous,  but I like it and think it will function well

  • the top will melt if you get over like 500 or so. They are notorious for that. no super hot searing or pizza cooks for you. My bro in law melted 2 in a matter of weeks and took it back to Costco.

    I believe the vents are available in cast iron now because of the issue you mentioned above

    That would be much better. There was plastic all over the daisy! Just melted shut after his first high heat cook.

    I'll only be using it for low cooks...just needed some more grill area...Thanks for the heads up on the top vent...I do like the hinge system

    the rest of it is actually pretty nice. Lots of room, the multi level grids etc.
