bgebrentbgebrent Posts: 16,468
Bachin' it for a few days so I chose to do one of my favorites. My much better half isn't as crazy about lamb as I am. Lamb loin chops glazed with brown sugar and spices. Thought I'd try something new and I'm glad I did. Taters and zuchs to round it out. Thanks for lookin.

  • Not such a big fan of lamb myself (I can honestly say it's the only thing I don't like, but I'll still eat it, if I have to!), but this still looks good.
  • Very nice looking meal all the way around.

@YukonRon, thanks bro.  Ya, heard about Bolden.  Confirms poor judgement so go to Puke.  Coack K has done really well, Coach C a little better!

Seriously, during his announcement he said "The University of Duke" not Duke University. Had to laugh he wore a Duke University T shirt to make his announcement.

I don't know how you can eat just two of those chops.  I'm usually good for three.

Looks good! How did you get your potatoes like that? Do you soak your lamb in milk or yogurt first?
  • bgebrentbgebrent Posts: 16,468
On the potatoes, after washing I sliced one side flat.  Then, used wooden chop sticks on each side of the potato while slicing in 1/8 inch slices.  You'll find different recipes under Hasselback potatoes.  Microwaved 9 minutes (1 turn) before dressing with parm and garlic.
Lamb is Australian, and amazingly flavorful.  Never soak it.  Glazed and grilled direct to 130.  Was perfect MR.  Thanks for asking.
