I love BLT's!  Tomatoes are planted but still a ways off.  For me, nothing better out of our garden than the tomatoes.  We eat them for breakfasts!

It is good to get some warm up BLT's with some store bought maters!  One of my favorite things.  BLTs or a plain tomato sammich tastes like summer.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Just legal herbs. But I know a few folks in the neighborhood who grow a plenty. I make salsa, stewed tomato and okra, cucumber and mater with Vinigar,  slice tomatoe, tomato pie, ....wait, I'm sounding like Bubba Gump.

I did grow some tometillos last year and love Verdi salsa and sauces. Really don't have much room to grow / harvest veggies. Love them though.

Nothing better or more tasty than the first couple of fresh homegrown tomatoes. Should be ripe about the first week in July.

Man am I jealous!  Up this way I don't see tomatoes on my plants until August. June 1 is about as early as it's worth putting them in the ground. Nice looking griddle there too.

BLT's are a summer staple in this house. Nothing better when the tomatoes are ripe.

@bgebrent If I ever relocate, the mid Atlantic is high on the list. Mild winters and a long gardening season and lots of golf and fishing? Yes please!

@bgebrent you may be the worst golfer currently in Atlanta, until I show up!

Not many things better than a BLT. Doesn't matter which side of the Mason-Dixon line you're on, it's all good. Nice Blackstone, I'm sure it's very handy to have around.

@Forhorn  sorry about the bait and switch. When I figure that part out....you will be the first person I reach out to. I promise.

So far I have enjoyed it. Has made an appearance at a tailgate and serviced my weekend breakfast cooks and assorted other uses. All good so far.
