After our whirlwind tour of the southeast this weekend culminating in the awesome tailgate with @Jeremiah @Dyal_SC and @northGAcock we had to have something to eat. A five hour drive home to an empty fridge and lots of frozen meat. Ran out to the store and picked up some country style ribs, these were basically pork butt steaks. Rubbed with Head Country. Cooked over RW between 450 and 500 for forty five minutes flipping early and often. 



Robin was trying to expand my horizons and sent this home with me. We all four liked it. Maybe too much time in the Carolinas?



In a blatant attempt to look healthy after a weekend of culinary debauchery steamed up some broccoli and sautéed some shrooms(in Kerry Irish, of course)



Four days, 17 hrs of driving, four states, an amusement park, an alpine coaster, a nature center, a baseball game and an awesome tailgate with some great eggheads and their families. 

Life is good.
