Tired from a day that started at 6am after a day that ended at 1am. Took the younger boy to one of these state-wide competitions where they launch rockets and takes tests and do science-y stuff.
12 hours.
So, we're sitting by the fire
and eating what's easy
salmon, triple creme, humboldt fog, and pate'. With a little baguette to fill the stomach
sometimes it is ok to let the egg go cold

And, to brag, his rocket went highest, longest hang time, and returned the passenger (a raw egg) unharmed. The only launch I saw which did not end in a yolk explosion.
His school took third against a pretty stiff field. So, we have the nerd thing on lock-down. Now if we can work on chicks.

Any day that has a rocket launch and good food is a day well spent. Congrats on your son's accomplishment.Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

Looks like the type of meal we could enjoy, good cheese, good bread and a glass of wine is pretty tempting.

A bit OT, but if any of you cheese lovers come across anything from Jasper Hill be sure to try it.. They make my favorite somewhat local cheeses (Vermont)... Winnimere is crazy good.
