"Let's get ready to rumble!"  9 PM EST and away we go on the Rep side.  Likely no different than all the others but the first few minutes could be quite entertaining (jockeying for position).  Better entertainment than anything else on main-stream television.  FWIW-
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Brother, as you know, we are a nation in decline.  Predictably and inevitably.  Sad for sure.

That was about as coherent as a Trump speech.

You should read it more carefully and unless you are on the welfare role, you should agree.

    Yes. The words, I understand.
The trick is to string them together in a fashion that offers a cogent presentation.
    Thence, the "Trump speech" reference.

Oh my long haired friend. There is something that goes hand and hand with those higher crime rates. And yes I will save you the suspense. It's not gun ownership. I wonder what it could be? No, say it ain't so...........

Please explain to me how we can reign in the national debt, maintain all the giveaways including healthcare, foodstamps, obamaphones, medicare, medicaid and WIC without taxing you at near 100%.  I saw the parallel thread.  If you believe in socialism then you have a chance this year.  How anyone that works for their paycheck could ever subscribe to socialism is beyond me.  Pay as you go.  Isn't that how it works?

All I hear is "we need to balance the budget!  So lets give rich people tax cuts!"  How serious is that?

Carey, we are across the divide and yes, it looks and sounds like WWE.  Working towards a balanced budget is a good objective.  Giving "the rich" people tax cuts is broad brushing the issue and you know that.  You are one of us, rich **** =).  The deficit matters but being in debt is not all bad given the economic circumstances.  The problem is the circumstances will change and our debt will become a greater liability.  Hence, less $ for things you libs really like.  And sorry Scottie, Trump scares me.

When someone trots out "Obamaphones", their entire argument is nullified.
