Ghost Peppers...What Should I Do With Them?

A friend of mine that I bowl with works for a produce wholesaler. Tonight he brought me in a bag of ghost peppers asking me if I wanted it. Not wanting to turn something down I said yes. Now I have to think about what I want to do with them. Any suggestions? Dry some and grind them into a powder to use as a season? Chili? Blend some into a wing sauce? I love really hot things, but I don't want to eat these straight up. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Toss them and get the Carolina Reaper. I tossed some habaneros on the egg during a low and slow and let them ride until they were dry. Removed stem and ground in a mortar and pestle. I have it in a shaker and use it to amp up chili for those that like heat. I'll bet that would work for those as well.
And wear gloves when handling, for sure.They/Them

I only give those to people I detest......oh wait.....I am sure your bowling partner really likes you, right?
Just kidding. Use gloves when handling, smoke them with oak until completely dry, pulverize in to a very fine powder. I store it in a very well labeled, fine dispensing, spice shake, in a cool and very dry place.
Use sparingly.
Be sure to label as to cause fear to those that view it. I label mine with

An acquaintance of mine, knowing I like HOT showed up one afternoon last year with 2 bhut jolokia peppers wrapped on newspaper. He said a friend of his who liked hot gave them to him because they weren't good of anything in this world that he knew of.
I immediately made a pot of chili so I could see what the fuss was about, I sliced off a small piece of the devil pepper and tossed it in the pot.
Threw the chili out.
With that small piece of the pepper it wasn't even a pleasant hot it was frikken hot. Not something to be messed with!

Whatever you do with them, remember what others have said: however hot you imagine them to be, they are much, much hotter than that.
I have loved hot foods for most of my 61 years. I do not consider those to be food.

I like them. They give a nice amount of heat to most things.

I once decided I would get in the Habanero pepper business. We planted about 1/2 acre of the peppers.
We couldn't sell them or even give them away.
The average person just can't handle the heat. -

I mix my bloodies 50/50 vodka and anything else. If you only use a shot, sure, but if you go full monty on ghost pepper bloodies. You might actually end up bleeding! Once you figure out how hot it actually is you'll be fine.
