T-bone Tuesday

The only thing noteworthy about this cook was finding a 1" thick T-bone for $4.99 a pound... It wasn't the highest quality ever, but it was cheap. The Mrs. and I had steak for $2.50 a plate - boom! Reverse seared. With butter. I like this version of living on the cheap.

Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

Good looking plate brother!  Nice crust and temp on the steak.  And a steal on the price.

Maybe it's just me, but I find there's much more than a cheap steak that's noteworthy. Great Tuesday meal.

I'd hit that at twice the price!  Or a lot more.

Hells yeah. Good stuff, for that price you definitely can't beat it. I find cheap cuts cooked right are excellent, and these def look cooked right.
