Brother piney, if you want to do a double layer, I recommend using the mini tots. They will cook much better than the regular sized ones when double layered.piney said:Scottie, are you doing 1 layer of taters or 2

Well low carb is lots of meat, so its not that bad. I do miss that bread and potatoes but you just eat more meat and cheese.SGH said:Biggreenpharmacist said:Im going back to low carb after the superbowl.

You know that I only kid my friend. I need to shed a pound or two myself, but unfortunately I don't think it's in the starsBiggreenpharmacist said:Well low carb is lots of meat, so its not that bad. I do miss that bread and potatoes but you just eat more meat and cheese.

Well I've got to get in a little better shape so that I can actually move around without being sore after a day of playing ball with the boys in our yard.
And I hope you try your tater tot recipe using chili. Pretty damn good I thought.Little Rock, AR

@SGH, this was fantastic! Our extra cheese was mozzarella since we needed to use it up, but the next one will have cheddar cheese. This was so good, we're having leftovers with fried eggs this morning. Sides "in the style of Dixie" were Clemson Colossus crowder peas that we froze this summer, sliced tomatoes, and sliced cucumbers. Thanks for the recipe.

@Dredger
It looks spectacular sister. Glad to hear that you enjoyed it as much as we do. Those Colossus peas are just the ticket with the TTC. Great call on that one.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

Yep, it was a toss up between the Colossus peas and Christmas speckled butter beans. Hubby says this will be in regular rotation at our house. Thanks again.
