At the store right now... Need help... MAP vs Propane

I've tried using propane and it's just not hot enough to start a fire. It just smolders the lump and goes out. I changed to fake mapp gas and the heavens lit up and I won the lottery and a little somfin down below grew 5 inches in one night. I'd definitely stick with fake mapp gas. Plus it costs more, so it must be better.

I don't know if I buy that.......I'm an aerodyanamics guy, not a thermodynamics, but MAPP is 5300F, MAP-pro (propylene) is 3600F, and Propane is 3500F.
Wondering now how long a MAP-pro bottle will last compared to propane, but that would have to be measured in a controlled experiment, not "Well, my propane lasted two summers but the Map is empty by June!" type thing.___________"They're eating the checks! They're eating the balances!"

ok - so which of the 2 below? I am guessing the blue due to the discussion above
with this?

Ahhhhhhhhh.......good catch. I knew there was some crafty wording in there.
One of a famous case studies we read in grad school was when one of the fast food chicken places and started selling a "healthy" meal that was "20% less fat!". Yeah, it was also 20% less in weight, plus they charged an extra buck for it.

I got a new light saber for Xmas and just a few swipes thru the lump and shazaam! Ready to go in three seconds.“Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.” ― Philip K. Diçk -
What's wrong with a chimney? Much less expense and the starter cubes are very inexpensive.
What kind of oil? Olive? Corn? Penz? -

However, what's not funny is that I had one guy who had 100% of his sick days on Monday or Friday.

I would recommend the Bison Airlighter. I just got mine for Christmas and LOVE it. It runs on butane and has a fan to really get the fire going.

"a little somfin down below grew 5 inches in one night"
Well, off to home depot. Hope they are open at 11:40PM new years eve. To think I've been buying those gas station supplements all this time.
