Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

My friend, you are somethin' else!! Just now catching up with this thread and I see this...and Hotch... and Cen-Tex! What a great bunch!! Will send you a note shortly. My thanks to all!

BTW, my son still has that Prius you helped with. Loves the thing!

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

  • South of Fort Worth in Everman there is a HOLE IN THE WALL BBQ restaurant called Longoria's. They have the best sausage. It's 100% brisket. It's completely different then any other I've had. The burgers are ground brisket and smoked instead of grilled. It is definitely worth the trip.

Sorry but your information on the Chicken Ranch is just not up to date. I have been to the Chicken Ranch 3 times in the past 7 years. So have a large part of Texas eggheads. @Spring Chicken hosts some grand times there!

  • You can try going to Rodak's Coffee and BBQ Grills (https://www.rodakscoffeeandgrills.com/).  Only open during the week.  They have lots of seasonings, wood chips, accessories, etc.  I highly recommend getting some coffee wood to use for smoking.  No BGE stuff since they are a Primo dealer.  Lots of good coffee too.

Welcome!
