Is it a pressure cooker?
-
@RiverRatSkier its basically like a croc pot, rice maker, pressure cooker. All in one
my guess is that it doesn't do any of them very well -
Their good for cooking fast.takes getting use to. I use it most to cook chicken breast. Frozen or thawed. After done pour off juice, pull it with forks, then add salsa Verde. Good for tacos and enchiladas. Also I do pulled beef same way but smoke it for 3 hours put in cooker for a hour on high pressure. Pour juice add pureed Chipotles with Adobe from can and canned enchilada sauce. Just look up electric pressure cooker vids on YouTube. Your gonna like it using it. It's super convenient.2-XLs ,MM,blackstone,Ooni koda 16,R&V works 8.5 gallon fryer, express smoker and 40" smoking cajun

I think you asked about corned beef earlier and @Nolaegghead mentioned making pastrami. Here is a recipe for pastrami that includes finishing in a pressure cooker.

This is just one example. I have seen other cool ideas for pressure cookers on here as well. I think you are gonna like this.
Respect to the grandma! @NPHuskerFLWhich came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -
Stop it, stop it, stop it.
I don't need another cooking tool. Sous Vid, griddle, eggs, now a pressure cooker.
Tell the OP its terrible. My wife will kick me out if I bring home another way to cook. My kitchen already looks lke the one on Chopped .... well at least CutThroat Kitchen anyway.Maybe your purpose in life is only to serve as an example for others? - LPL

The joy of these puppies is that they replace loads of other stuff. You will increase your workspace. When you prove this to her she will let you get the Wolfgang Puck pressure oven. Then you will have a free ticket to buy more egg stuff.Steve

I just bought a Fagor multi cooker from the Chef's Catalog. I will be learning about it's capabilities after the Holidays. I wanted a good rice cooker and stumbled on to this. Reviews were good, so I bit.

We need to buy a new rice cooker. Our 20 year old zojirushi is looking cruddy and my wife wants something new. (still works though!) I may get her one of these instead if it makes great rice.XL, Small, Mini & Mini Max Green Egg, Shirley Fab Trailer, 6 gal and 2.5 gal Cajun Fryers, BlueStar 60" Range, 48" Lonestar Grillz Santa Maria, Alto Shaam 1200s, Gozney Dome, Gateway 55g Drum
