I think we already knew most of this, at least those in the know knew it, know what I mean? My favorite line “Over-control leads to lack of control. Just have the cookie.” Julie Barnes, a New York-based clinical psychologist

There is even a link to the actual research. So go ahead and indulge my fellow eggheads...just not too much.

That which you seek to control, controls you.

I would speculate that some of those obese folks who report eating few sweets and consuming little soda are full of crap and under report.

Go ahead, tell me about your glandular problem... ;)

Lol it's Thyroid! I was hyper thyroid a while back and went from 185 to 145 in 2 months. But I know what you mean way to many people have supposed thyroid problems when they're actually throwing back liters of cola like its water.

i wish I was told that back when I was 56. It could have been so much different for me at 57.

The greatest barrier against all wisdom, the stronghold against knowledge itself, is the single thought, in ones mind, that they already have it all figured out.

As Hunter S. Thompson once said, " I have never advocated the use of drugs and alcohol, but I must say, they have always worked for me."
