@Botch - Heads up if you haven't seen Rick Beato's latest video:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzJuA93DVJI
in this episode I discuss the Tori Amos 1992 album "Little Earthquakes" which is having its 30 year anniversary.

EDIT: Never listened to her music as I turned off the radio when it went mostly Clear Channel boring playlists, but I WILL find her music.

^^^ Finally took the time to watch this, Rick's livestreams get a bit long-winded sometimes.
I remember "Silence all these years" when it came out, but it didn't really grab me (and its in the same vein as most of Joni's work, and Rickie Lee Jones' first two albums, which I absolutely love).
Going to order this CD now, along with the new SilkSonic album.

I'm getting exited. Leonid & Friends are coming to Iron City in Birmingham on 5/31
I've had tickets for a few months, I can't wait to see them again. They put on a fantastic show.

Bad ass.  It's a universal prerequisite, if you're a bass player, to do that forward direction head bobble.

After I turned 18, my Dad was still dead-set against me drinking.  I did, but never drove drunk.  After a Friday night with friends, I came home with a few beers and would watch "Fridays" (?), a competitor to SNL.  Folks never woke up.
One night the musical guest was a band, King Crimson, whom I've heard of but was unfamiliar with.  My jaw hit the floor.  Who WERE these guys!?!?
The next morning I drove to the record store to get in line, at 8:50, before the store opened.  There was no line, but I grabbed the "Discipline" album and drove home, and that was a major change in my musical life.  (this isn't the typical style of music I listen to, but it grabbed me)

'Nuf history.  Tonight I ran across a link of the ten best songs from 80's KC, and its very well done (I have most of the band's stuff prior, and some of the post stuff, but to me the Fripp/Belew/Levin/Bruford version was Prime).
Enjoy!  And to the first person that can identify the link between the verses of "Elephant Talk", 450 BotchPoints!!

^^^ I just listened to the G O'S version, with lyrics:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PY4c_r5VY8c
I didn't realize, back in Jr High when this was a hit, how close to home those lyrics hit.
And the Vulf version completely left out the bridge, I hadn't caught that before.  I need to pull out a keyboard and go thru those chord changes, it's a lot more interesting song that I realized.

@Botch - ^^^ That just sent me down another rabbit hole. This interview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MdMQvjgTwcg has me thinking I need to buy more of his albums. His work ethic is astounding. He is more than a one hit wonder. Thank you.

I don't usually follow late-night TV, so I missed this.  King Crimson, in their "double-trio" configuration, playing "Dinosaur" on Conan.  "Somebody is Digging my Bones!"

Incidentally this is not Robert Fripp's first appearance on this forum (he's the dour-looking guitarist sitting in the background); a short COVID video appeared with his ex-model wife, and it, er, was cold in the room.  Can't remember where it was posted, but everyone enjoyed it.

Been rearranging the furniture and entertainment system. Still need to run a cable from the antenna in the attic to the stereo cabinet in the corner.

Been listening to some Jethro Tull while working.

Aqualung playing now. Time to make dinner so Thick As A Brick is up next.

Reconfigured the Stereo Cabinet contents, dusted, verified cable connections, etc. Realized I haven't played a vinyl album in quite a while so chose this one - edit released in1981:

Went thru all the old rituals to keep the vinyl in reasonable playing shape.

Waiting to listen to side two and do it all over again. This may be the impetus I need to get back to converting all my LP's from analog to digital format. The record sounds fantastic in ner small listening area.

Cool!  SG's debut album (Morning Dance?) was my first jazz album, '78?  Someone on my audiophile forum posted that amazoid was blowing out all their Spyro Gyra 5.1 discs for $5.99, I was able to score 4 or 5 of them.

And I still have my walnut-handled "Discwasher" brush, with the D3 bottle in the handle (albeit filled with distilled water now), and the stylus brush; never had the antistatic gun nor the small red brush (what is that?).  I may have to pull out some vinyl tonight, too!  Happier Times, back then.

Spyro Gyra 1977-78, Catching the Sun 1980,  Carnival 1980, Freetime 1981.
I recorded Morning Dance (1979) on cassette but can't find the original media.

    Eddie, slightly-pre "eruption":

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Siz0TfwsLX8

You can see the ideas that he later perfected in this monster solo, and even see a prelude of his final guitar finish.  Even though I'm mostly into other forms of music, I really really wish I could've attended this performance, back then!

You have a brush to clean a brush? Do you have a brush to clean the brush that cleans the brush?

This will only be of interest to jazz fans, there are a few here.
This popped up today, and explanation of Trane's Giant Steps and how it was carefully constructed over three different keys, using the Circle of Fifths.  Funny comment on explaining how hard it was, to folks who don't understand jazz: it's like speaking sentences where you change languages (three unrelated languages, like English/Japanese/Swahili) every three words, at 300 words/minute.
I learned a few things, but a lot of it flew over my head, too.
