@MaC122   I get your intent, but the list is too long.  I learn something every day from this forum.

Without a doubt the quality of people on this forum make it a rarity in today's world.

I have to give mention to Ron aka: @RRP. He was most helpful with his advice on my gasket install. Heck, he even supplied the gasket. What more could you ask for :D

And last but certainly not least, the Brisket Gods. Their guidance and wisdom in all things Q is invaluable and very much appreciated.

  • I am a horrible abuser of taking the help way more than I give the help. In 3 years on this forum I can say that the some of the "cast" has changed and some have stayed the same, but there is always an inexhaustible supply of information here. Way too many to name the most helpful. This is first place I turn for anything food related. And often times for humor and politics too.

I've said this before but @TexanOfTheNorth encouraged me in early cooks. I was a 58 yo guy who had grilled but a steak or two on a gasser when I got my egg.  His patience was invaluable in talking me few my first rib cook via real time forum posts.   Later credit to CarWashMike's fine rib write up.  @henapple for his wit/jpgs and @sgh for showing me the way of the buffalo.

If i have accomplished nothing else in my time here on the forum, i hope that i have at least raised awareness to the way of the buffalo. If i have, then mission accomplished ;)  I can stand down and fade away my friend. Slowly go the way of the buffalo.

Brother of the North has certainly inspired me. A lobster post that he did some time back is easily in the top 3 of my favorite forum posts. Then he came along with some fried lobster to boot.
