My humidor is small. Right now, I have 4 boveda packs in it. 2 of them are brand new, and the two others are "refilled" (wrapped them in a damp Scott towel and put them in a ziploc bag for a few days). Humidity won't go above 55%... I'm thinking of using the 89% packs during the winter months.

I didn't think the packets could be reused. Once they were hard they were done.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.

The only thing else I can suggest is take all the cigars out, put them in a plastic bag or tuber ware with the two packs and your gauge. If it is reading ok I would take a clean sponge or towel, wet it with distilled water and wipe the insides of your humidor. Then put your gauge in there for a few hours to see what it reads. This is what I did when I got a new humidor. How new is your humidor.
This reminds me I need to check mine and refill everything.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo. -
