Grilled Trout

Wish I had a good fishing story or pictures of me catching this trout but, unlike @U_tarded, I bought mine at Costco. They are sold, fresh (i.e., not frozen) by the pair. Did this one with some fresh rosemary and thyme, a dash of salt and some lime and orange slices in the body cavity. Cooked raised direct at @370*; 15 minutes, flipped and then another 10 minutes to done. Also did some green beans with a little s&p cooked in bacon grease. All in all, a wonderful meal!

Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.

It looks great. You might not be an expert at catching them...but it looks like you have cookin' and eatin' em mastered!Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

That looks better than any trout I have ever caught and cooked. Of course I have not been trout fishing since I got the BGEs. I look forward to catching some and bringing them home to try this recipe. Looks delicious, I want this."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

I prefer my trout cooked over a campfire beside the river but those look to be a close second. Nice job my friend.

Thanks everyone!
I'd do this on a more regular basis but, it's one of the very few things that Mrs. TOTN does not care for... something about the eyes! She was out last night so I had the green light. Could have easily eaten two of them!---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti.
