Had to call an audible tonight

With the impending weather, I called an audible rather than take a lightning bolt on my planned egg cook.
 
Course ground S&P with garlic and rosemary. Reverse seared in vintage cast iron. Threw a couple of sweet potatoes in the Advantium oven. Turned out pretty well for a last minute game time decision.

    Waiting for that weather to get over to Augusta. I was able to sneak in a steak before thre storms.

    Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do!  It looks delicious.  That looks like a sweet backup cooking area you have!  

    I am in the suburbs of Marietta (Woodstock) and there is some serious thunder right now.  


    Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

    We usually don't get rain like that over aiken. The fires of hell seem to evaporate it before it can reach the ground.

    Rain has been pretty bad here too. SE Kentucky took a hit. Floods wiped out 150 homes with severe damage to 500 more. I dead several still missing, and presumed dead.
