I think all of the good bbq in Lubbock is in backyards and parking lots on gameday. I've got two at Tech, I really like that school but wish there were some good bbq places.
Welcome, let's see some pics!

Welcome to the forum and to the lifestyle Jared!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.____________________Aurora, Ontario, Canada -
Welcome aboard and enjoy the journey. Degree of Kool-Aid consumption a matter of personal preference. Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Welcome aboard and congratulations on the new egg. You know it's funny, I have owned numerous smokers and grills for most of my life. I always bought or built one the minute the notion hit me. Like yourself, I put off buying a egg for quite sometime after the bug hit me. Don't know why, it just worked out that way for no particular reason. Glad that I finally bit the bullet and you will be glad that you did as well. They are about as all around rigs as you can hope for. Again, welcome and congratulations. Enjoy it my friend.

That rib looks great. I did read that place was good, pretty new too. Last time I was up there they weren't open, they have a working mans schedule d/t where they are I suppose. One of my kids has a summer job that has him in Wolforth sometimes, I'll have to tell him to go try it.

Jared, Jared, Jared, I can't save you now. (SMH while looking down) the cost to get in this lifestyle is nothing compared to staying in this lifestyle, as alluded to in previous posts. Get a nice comfortable recliner that has a large beverage holder to take with you when you go to BGE therapy. You have now joined OCD heaven for Eggers.
Seriously, have fun! Welcome to the machine Red Raider."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber
