@cazzy had a thread on this, I bought one and love it. I got in trouble, though, for shooting a bug when my wife was down range. Always be aware of the surroundings would be my advice I guess.

LOL - the company literally sells jars of maggots so you can grow your own targets!

I got in trouble for all the salt in the house.  Not as much fun shooting them outside.

I will echo the sentiments mine is used primarily outside, unless a fly is pissing me off, then all bets are off.

Roughly 18 to 24 inches, you have to get fairly close.

Regardless of the "weapon", you should always follow the 4 rules of Gun Safety.  

• Treat every firearm as if it's loaded. ...
• Never point a firearm at anything you are not willing to destroy. ...
• Always be sure of your target and what is beyond it. ...
• Keep your finger off the trigger until you are on target and ready to fire.
