It makes the best bacon I have ever eaten. I don't know why it seems so different than my skillet. But it does!XL, Small, Mini & Mini Max Green Egg, Shirley Fab Trailer, 6 gal and 2.5 gal Cajun Fryers, BlueStar 60" Range, 48" Lonestar Grillz Santa Maria, Alto Shaam 1200s, Gozney Dome, Gateway 55g Drum

I was thinking the same. I will say the space and not smelling up the house are definite pluses. I was looking at the Little Griddle and Griddle Master too that would go on my gasser. Nice part, mine is natural gas so no propane tanks. Also, the Little Griddle is stainless and I'm thinking that smooth stainless surface would be better. I'm still happy with the Blackstone...fajitas tonight so will be interesting since we normall simmer in a cast iron pan which I obviously can't do on the griddle. Hope it goes well.Joe - I'm a reformed gasser-holic aka 4Runner Columbia, SC Wonderful BGE Resource Site: http://www.nakedwhiz.com/ceramicfaq.htm and http://www.nibblemethis.com/ and http://playingwithfireandsmoke.blogspot.com/2006/02/recipes.html

Why buy a blackstone when you could get one of these for the egg?

Tonight was BLT between grilled cheese. Kind of hard to make out in the pic...white cheddar on top. Basically 2 grilled cheese sammies with bacon, lettuce, mater in the middle. My wife's idea. No wonder I love her.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -
@4Runner, fajitas look great, @SmokeyPitt, nice sandwich

How does fried rice and stir fry compare on this vs wok?They/Them
Morgantown, PA
XL BGE - S BGE - KJ Jr - HB Legacy - BS Pizza Oven - 30" Firepit - King Kooker Fryer - PR72T - WSJ - BS 17" Griddle - XXL BGE - BS SS36" Griddle - 2 Burner Gasser - Pellet Smoker -
@DMW, fried rice is comparable, I think its more fun to cook fried rice Teppanyaki style. Prefer to stir fry on the wok, messier to make sauce/gravy on the griddle.

@Thatgrimguy Looks good. I really like the cabinet style doors on an offset. More rack space and no balance issues. Shirley?Large BGE, MiniMAX BGE, 2 Mini BGE's, R&V Fryer, 36" Blackstone Griddle, Camp Chef Dual Burner 40K BTU StoveBGE ChimineaProsper, TX
