I'd like an order of scattered, covered, chunked, and covered please!  And make it a double!
Come on brother tar, at least make it a triple  ;) A double is just a mere appetizer.

For those of you sick of seeing me post food every single day. Don't worry. My wife and baby are getting back in town today. So I imagine I'll fall back down to my once monthly posts, lol.
Nonsense, post away brother grim. I love seeing it. Can't wait to be able to post again myself. Congratulations on the new rig. Now you have me wanting one.

Looks like fun. I think I'll pull out my lodge 20 inch griddle and throw it on the xl. I've been meaning to re season it. And I've been wanting to make sliders. Thanks for the motivation!

You could do some sweet Mongolian bbq on one of those.  That could be a fun patio addition.  It would be a great companion piece for my egg.

Made Fajitas for the wife and I and Burgers for my nieces that are staying with us tonight. This thing is a ton of fun.  I made some killer squash and zucchini for a side. Cooked real real hot. Loved it.

Tomorrow I'm going to make my first attempt at fried rice. I plan to make some pancakes in the morning. It's fun. I'll probably end up doing pretty much all my meat in the Green Egg still (except bacon, eggs and burgers.)  And I know long term I won't use it this much. But, I can see me using this 2 or 3 mornings and 2 or 3 nights a week.  It is really easy to light up and use.

    Seasoning looking good!

Not too bad for a 24 hour old griddle. Need to work on that left side a little.

    Some of tonight's food.

check other forums for the drain hole issues.  If not careful the grease will drip down the leg...I bent a paper clip to ensure the grease drips into the drain cup

Yes, and I need to buy it. It's $35. I bet it's garbage though. Will report after it comes in.
No, it's not garbage. Pretty thick actually. I have the cover, but I still keep it in the garage.

Sure it can. It's a matter of simply rejetting for natural gas. However there may be a unforeseen issue. If the unit utilizes high pressure burners, it's performance may suffer due to a gas deficiency. Natural gas is usually delivered at a pressure of 7 water column inches which is less than 1/2 a psi. If the unit in question uses low pressure burners, then all will be well. I would look into this before I purchased one with the intention of converting it to NG. Just some food for thought my friend.

It's got 4 15k btu burners. I'm not sure the psi of the regulator though.

Made the youngins french toast and bacon.

    2 eggs,
    half cup of cream
    2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon almond extract
    1/2 teaspoon coconut extract

The real key is to only dunk the bread, never soak it. I try to do it as fast as possible just to get some on both sides all over. (when using regular loaf bread)

I've had one for a while. I love it. I found if you get a handful of washers you can do all the adjusting that is needed to get it to drain correctly. The washers go under the little pegs on the underside of the griddle. I have 2 on the upper left corner and one on the lower right corner. Drains perfect. Another thin is the drain hole. It stinks. I am getting a long tube welded to the drain hole. It will drain into a coffee can for quick disposal. I built mine into my outdoor kitchen and I use it all the time. Nice pics.

I think this is going to be my fathers day.  I'm not sure why...but this just seems like a ton of fun.  Maybe it is channeling my inner waffle house cook.

I thought about going with the smaller one 28 inch model  It is $160 now on Amazon.  It seems the reviews are better for the 36 inch model.  Plus...the extra space when you need it.  Hmmmmmm...I think I can convince mys

Never thought about adjusting it at the griddle. I've just put things under the wheels, but your idea is much, much better. And yea, the drain sucks and it has drained down the leg.

The natural gas orifice size is going to be a little larger than the LP gas. The griddle should have a serial number tag that has info on it. Many appliances operate at different water columns, our natural gas is 4" so the orifce size may be a little bigger. The regulator on back of unit should be marked. The gas coming out of tank is at a high pressure and needs a high stage regulator at the tank and then one at unit to make sure it's getting what it was designed for.

Now one of these may make me get another bottle of propane.  Very cool.  But I have no way to keep it covered.

I'm getting a custom cutting board to fit right on the griddle. This way it will
keep the pollen off it and double as a cutting surface when using the eggs. The cover doesn't do me any good since I scrapped the rest of it. Maybe it would still work? Idk
