Looks great. Why does the table need to be on the deck? Can't you just get it leveled just off the deck, leave one section of rail open so it's like an extension of the deck, not under the roof?
Love you bro! -
I thought about that. But I have an idea in my head with the egg on a table with that blackstone griddle beside it. Then a bar top in front of that. I have a bunch of aluminum left over from the camper build so if I have to I'll just make a duct over it.Slumming it in Aiken, SC.

It is about time you get back to work on this project. I thought you were going to miss out on the good summer weather and end up finishing it in the cold winter months. What if you retain an area just off the deck for the BGE and the Blackstone and tip the roof slightly outward. Or put a hip roof over them and have a vent covered by a cupola in the center. Anyway looks good and enjoy the nice weather.

interesting
Would the vent + cupola solve the problem of
- no rain falling in
- venting the smoke upwards

Sweet100s,
If you were to frame out and cut a 16" square at the top and then space up about 6 inches and cover with a 24" square cap with the same slope as the roof I think it would give a decent draft and keep out most if not all of the rain
