Well they ate 4 of the 6 butts. I vac sealed the leftovers and gave it to them.

Nice job! Now you will try and see just how much you can cram in the XL. And then you will start looking at larger cookers.

I have a BGE XL and am getting ready to do a 6 pork butt smoke. What type and size of bricks are you using? It looks like you have this down pat and I am getting ready to do this for a wedding, so any suggestions would be great. My original post was what type of rack would I need to get to do a 6 pork butt smoke and it sure looks like yours turned out fine.
