@paqman speaking of HP, were you a fan before the change by Heinz? We haven’t used it in years, had always been the steak sauce around our house, but once Heinz doped it down, we haven’t used it.

HP! I haven't heard about HP since I moved back to the states from Scotland. You're right it's an acquired taste, but wonderful once you get used to it. Something about that Worcestershire style tang that keeps you coming back for more.

@Skiddymarker Growing up, we always had a bottle in the pantry but I did not like it. I started to appreciate it in my late teenage years (about the same time that I discovered that I could eat steaks other than well well done). There was a change of taste but also texture but I still like it. We now buy it at Costco in large bottles.
