Noooo! You can't cook them. They're much too cute. I'd cook the dog first. Then the cat. No, wait, he pees on my tile. We can cook him first. Though, he's pretty fat. Would that be the fat side up to make a nice bark? We'd have to baste him first in apple juice or something...ShannyShooShooOwner of 1 Mini BGE and 1 Wood-fired Brick Oven.Mother of 4 boys, 1 obese feline, 1 mean-assed chow, 1 rowdy bulldog, and 6 completely spoiled sugar gliders

Getting back to the original topic--or somewhere around page 13 or so--I haven't heard back from Bruce. I left him a message earlier. Guess I'll try to call him again tomorrow.

Guys, we do not eat sugar gliders. Only savory pets should be eaten. Gawd.

I wonder what the best tasting pet would be? I'm thinking probably some kind of bird. I wonder what parrot taste like?

No, I had a friend who cooked one once and said it was terrible. He cooked it on the egg.
How about turtles? I know snapping turtles are good, I just don't know who would have one as a pet.

Ew....just, ew. They get worse, trust me. I thought about changing my pen name when I stumbled across them. No way I wanted to be associated with that stuff.

Rabbits would work.

Guinea pigs are quite popular in some cultures.

This is the thread that never ends.
It just goes on and on my friends.
Some eggers starting posting not knowing what it was.
And they will continue posting forever just because.

No no no, we can't cook guinea pigs. I had those too, growing up. They're much too cute. I probably wouldn't eat squirrel or rabbits either. Sorry, I'm a fuzzy lover. BTW--still getting Bruce's voicemail. I'm going to try another email. Still holding onto the hope that he's working on an awesome deal, or trying to find a homeless egg somewhere and not just avoiding me. lol

This is definitely on of the more multi personality threads of late. Quite entertaining even if it had a devastating beginning.

I once worked with a cajun who told me that he was going home for the weekend and would bring me back "the best nutria gumbo you ever tasted".
Fortunately, it never materialized.
I wonder if nutria is one of @SGH's favorites?XXL BGE, Karebecue, Klose BYC, Chargiller Akorn Kamado, Weber Smokey Mountain, Grand Turbo gasser, Weber Smoky Joe, and the wheelbarrow that my grandfather used to cook steaks from his cattle

Sorry to hear about your egg and glad the mutt is ok. I would seriously consider the ceramic grill they offer at Lowes, I think the one close to the size of a Large was right around $600.

For $600 she can buy the parts. Hell for $700 she can buy another large egg!Slumming it in Aiken, SC.
