I own 2 parrots and many times have threatened my birds if they do not quiet down. Lol. In reality, I do not think they would be worth the trouble to clean because they are on the lean side. No, I had a friend who cooked one once and said it was terrible. He cooked it on the egg.
How about turtles? I know snapping turtles are good, I just don't know who would have one as a pet.

Sorry to hear about your egg and glad the mutt is ok. I would seriously consider the ceramic grill they offer at Lowes, I think the one close to the size of a Large was right around $600.
