@Sea2Ski bangers isn't used much these days, only really in 'bangers and mash' as a specific dish.

It was surreal.  I kept looking at my buddy saying it had to be a joke.....and if so not funny.  He pulled sh!t like that all the time!  The Fox was packed out but you could hear a pin drop.  Hopefully that's how he would want to go out - on stage with all his friends.  So very sad.

My wife and I watched it when it was released. We thought it was good, ending was weird though.

I watched it. Strangely, it held my attention as odd as it was.

The ending was weird and kind of left you like WTF?!?!?  But after some processing and reading online about what the writers have to say about it, I'm kind of liking the ending even though it leaves you "cheated".

I watched it while I was recovering from back surgery.  Was a very strange show.  They are making a second season.

Trying to get a pic for you guys of a squirrel hanging upside down from a limb and lifting the lid off a bird feeder. He's tried it twice and had it lifted a little, but couldn't grab the camera quick enough. Just want to share if I can get the pic. Yep, I'm easily entertained.

Bizarre and sad all around.  I never got much into Col. Bruce Hampton, but love a lot of bands he influenced.  Especially Dave Matthews and Widespread Panic.

I could say the same.  We used to go see Col. Bruce and the Aquarium Rescue Unit back when I was in college but it was more just an excuse to go out.  I was at the show last night for the AMAZING cast of talent.  R.E.M., Widespread Panic, Allman Brothers, Wood Brothers, Blues Traveler, Leftover Salmon, Phish, Tiny Universe, Drivin N Cryin, Tedeschi Trucks Band.....all represented.  Chuck Lavelle who has played with everyone from the Stones, David Gilmour, Clapton, Black Crowes, Gov't Mule to John Mayer.  Incredible show.
It really seems rather fitting that he go out this way I guess.  SMH.

At the airport waiting for my flight out. Having a pint of Hopdevil by Victory Brewery at Chickie's & Pete's in terminal C.

And just got the cheesesteak eggrolls I ordered.

Was warned the cheese in them is molten hot, so giving them a few minutes to cool down. Based on how they smell, I have a feeling I'll need to figure out how to recreate them at home.

Made some cornbread with Geechie Boy Jimmy Red Cornmeal. It takes six years to produce the cornmeal. Outstanding stuff.

Coincidentally, that's how long it took those butt blast mushrooms...

Day one post first root canal, Lortab and Clindamycin on board, tending to my boy with strep, finishing up the movie, A Dog's Purpose.

Aldi bronze cut Priano fusilli made in Flumeri, Italy, the heart of Campania Region....another ethnic Aldi gem that came through, having it in the pantry, reserved for a day like today.

Kerrygold, Colavita, white ernyin, roasted garlic, dried Italian herbs, kosher, white pepper, roasted red pepper, calabrians, ground deer, jar of marinara, can of tomato soup to thin, grated parm....and a touch of comfort from my Ma's LC DO.

Sending him home tonight with a big bowl.
