Thanks @blasting this was my first time doing these. My son went dove hunting today and came home with six doves. I was heating up the small to char some salsa ingredients. Decided to go ahead and throw on the dove breasts. They were actually pretty good.

Just had to go inside and get the wife to drive me to get more propane. Blackstone burnt through one in 2weeks and I turn it off between cooks. Is that normal? Gonna have to get another tank in the rotation.

So we're tailgating after a baseball game and one of robin's neighbors walks up and proudly announcing that she's going to dinner with the other team. Not a bad price, but shipping was a bit high. So I checked their brick and mortar counterpart that is 25 minutes from my house, and sure enough, they have them.

Sounds like stress is getting to you Jason. Light a candle in the garage and take a deep breath. You are in for a long hot night. The temp of your beer will rise, You want get much sleep and you probably don't have enough ice for your cocktails.

Perhaps you might have enough power on the laptop to gather the family and watch Ishtar (if you can't find it in the bottom of DVD barrell, .....go ahead and watch "The attack of the Killer Tomatos (for the umpteenth time). It will suck knowing how it ends an all.....but make the best of it.

Tomorrow will be a much better day. Do you have plenty of chainsaw oil, gas, gloves and bottled water? You have younguns who are highly motivated.....and will be very helpfull from daylight to sundown. You might want to have a family meeting, and go over the ...."you can't yell timber" when the d@mn trees are already on the ground." I realize this will be a real disappointiment, but you have to keep it real when setting an example for the kids. It's emergency preparedness .....and keeping a calm head will be important as you face these tough times. 

I am here for you. If you need some further guidance or words of wisdom, by all means call me. You do have cell service right?
