@Lit - But one, it's great. 15 minutes after firing it you can be cranking out pies.

@SGH keep our gas prices low!
I won't hit the disagree button but I respectfully disagree. Considering all of our retirement accounts have some exposure to oil and gas, we are all taking a bigger beating there than at the pump. The pump stings initially but the retirement accounts hurt for a long time.
I investing in retirement now.  Lower all around is better.  The savings on gas is more than any raise I have ever had.

    Really. 40000 miles @ 25mpg = 1600 gal. X 2/ gal = $3200.

40000 is a lot of miles and 2 bucks is a hearty delta.

@Jeremiah, I used to aerate religiously every fall but last time I did that (over 10 yrs ago) I came home after returning it and told my wife to never let me do that again. It's easier writing the check to the guy that does it for me.

Two people driving at 18mpg.  Average 30000 per year.  Looking from 5 to 1.75.  Post tax, so add a minimum of 30%.  Based on market conditions this has been better than any raise over the last 4 years.

I got hungry and Sheetz now has online ordering

This was an "El Gringo" burger. Doritos on a burger with some chili sauce. Hit the spot. And now I want a doughnut, but I'm not walking back.

Your example is less per person than the one I used. Hey, whatever, I like low gas prices too. I find most people vastly over estimate the impact of a minor gas change though. That's prolly because we repeatedly fill up and feel the pain instantly.

Goin through my old Abu Garcia and Zebco reels from when I was a kid.  Lubing, and replacing the mono and braided line.  Palomar'n poppers, crankbaits, and slip boppers for the boy.  Upgraded mine to Pfleuger Presidents at Scheels.   =)

Another beautiful day this weekend.  Woke up and got some things done around the house.  Went to the butcher.  Played my first round of 9 holes this year!  Was great to be back out on the course in wonderful weather.  Didn't hit'em all that well, but showed some signs of getting in the swing.  Came home and threw some chicken kabobs on the Mini Max and am relaxing on the patio with some beers.
These are the days I dream of.  Cheers my friends.

Laundry, dishes, changed oil and gas treatment in the snowblower, fired up lawnmower and mowed the lawn, powerwashed the deck, prepped the convertible for spring/summer, cleaned garage, got a good sunburn.

Got peckish so raided the freezer. Found a homemade hot Italian sausage vac sealed by itself.

No buns, so white bread with yellow mustard did the job quite well. Pics aren't so good, but it's dark out and I'm a bit ... not fit to drive...
