not quite unfindable but you have to search for it.

Posted a old plated food photo in the non-OT WAYDRN thread, to give it some food content.

Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -

I would like to think that the buffalo will see the error of his ways and restore this to the now Egghead Forum only section. Patience is the watchword here. Clearly when this thread was established the forum was a whole lot more expansive in welcoming the OT topics so one can hope...Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. So, cooks that don't deserve their own thread: post 'em here, or on the new thread? Preferences?___________

Been a descent day. Started out at 7 am working a small herd of cattle for an old friend. Its interesting working his heard in a good way. He's pretty up to date on embryo transfer and AI stuff, so alot of times I'm learning things too.
Then on to my 9-5 part time gig (this is the one closing at the end of the month)
Met my lady friend for a lunch date at the local meat and 3.
Now I'm propping my feet up in the office waiting on the 5 o clock whistle. -

Food prep for tomorrow. Homemade potato rolls that are my grandma’s recipe. The rolls make a family holiday feel like a holiday. Sweet potato creme brûlée, first try at this. It smells wonderful but it might turn out a bust. I always get a mix of cheeses and opened them early since it’s just our family of 4 this year. Wife has a pumpkin pie in the oven and cranked out fresh cranberry relish this morning.

Still PO'd at the buffalo for this maneuver especially so close to Thanksgiving. Spatchcock turkey ready to roll along with a stuffed pork loin for the local fire department. Will post pics somewhere on Thanksgiving. However it works out for you and your family, make the best of and enjoy Thanksgiving-Stay healthy and safe-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. The Buffalo should pay close attention to all the experienced forum members that are coming to the aid of the countless help threads and questions.A lot of these people coming to the aid of fellow eggers are the same people labeled as trolls according to a select few~ John - https://www.instagram.com/hoosier_egger

@Botch will do, I followed a food network recipe with modifications for making it in one dish versus little ramekins.

Rolls aren’t as good as grandmas, but still taste good. I’ve been playing with the baking temp and method to try and get well fluffed and nice smooth domes on the rolls. Candying some pecans for the sweet potato creme brûlée. Fun day with our oldest helping every where we let her.
-
Still unsure of what happened.
