@blind99 - Thanks for the input. I've got the oxtails simmering in the Dutch oven and tongue braising in a Pyrex dish. I'll peel the tongue and shred and add in with the deboned tail. We'll see how it turns out.They/Them

@blind99 It was excellent. Lots of inside humor and laugh out loud moments. Definitely happy they gave it an R rating to keep up with the tone of the comic.

My Anova showed up today. Was taking pictures of a roast I have in the bath. And, dropped my phone in.

@Ozzie_Isaac see if there is a dry box rescue or tekdry kiosk near you. It's about $30 but does a great job of fully drying your phone quickly. My kids have used it successfully where rice hasn't worked for us.Love you bro!

Well that sucks. Although had I done it, there would be a lot of laughter from those who think I'm crazy to photograph my food.
If you send it in for warranty, don't forget to cut new moisture indicators out of photo paper to cover the now pink ones...

If it's an iPhone I know 2 people that brought their phones in with water issues and were given a new one for $100 from an Apple Store.

@blind99 - Here it is, really bad pic:
I cut the tails into sections, browned on all sides and then deglazed the dutch oven with red wine and reduced it down until it was almost dry. Then I added the tails and covered with water, brought it to a boil and then put it in the oven at 300*. I braised the tongue with red wine at the same time in the oven.
After about 3.5 hours I removed the tail sections and separated the fat from the liquid. Pulled the meat from the bones and reserved. Sauteed diced carrots/celery/onions/potatoes in butter until the onion was translucent, then added the liquid and shredded tail meat back and brought to a simmer. Then I peeled the tongue and diced the meat up and added that as well. Let the mess simmer until the potatoes and carrots were tender. Seasoned to taste with salt/pepper/steak rub.
My folks came over for lunch and all the guys liked the soup. My wife/daughter/mom, not so much. They weren't impressed by the texture of the tongue, weird...

Cooking up one of these bad boys for dinner hit 45 days last night

Felt like a BLT, so I baked up a loaf in the DO and then toasted the bread with the bacon on the blackstone. Sometimes simple is tastes pretty good.

Uhh, baking bread for a Sammie doesn't seem simple to me.
