I’m hoping I’ve got another 15+ years before I’m in the market for a TV. Buying a TV sucks
That's what I'm saying!  I'll keep replacing $30 lamps in this thing until it officially croaks!

Making some stew beef.  It's a great day for it.  Cold and rainy here in central NC.

  • @Legume I’m really liking it. Bottles on 10/8 and I just finished my sixer. Wouldn’t mind if I had some more to go through

    That is really cool.

There is a guy that wants to put a hive on my property. He said that since I took an apiculture class, I could also go in the hive with him or when I thought something was wrong and check it out.  I also get some free honey out of it as well. Hopefully he will bring the hive in the spring.  All the benefits without the expense or work.

Wife is against it because she does not understand that honeybees are normally, overwhelmingly nonaggressive.
I am going to have to educate her.
    Yea.... educate her.

    hmmmmm...

    They ain’t coming, are they?

I came back from the store with this little guy...

Last one in the set. Putting it in the safe but something tells me he isn’t gonna make it to Christmas Eve.
Nice score! I like old forester, a few years ago when it was still $16 for 750ml, it was my go to cheap bourbon but now that it has crept up to $20 I opted for others. Just bought some buffalo trace last weekend for $25 that is pretty good. I bet the 1910 will be good!

A local meet market (Patton’s for you OTP North people) has prime angus cowboy ribeyes on sale for $11.99 a lb if you say you are in their email club. A big bone and some extra fat but for the price they look good. Picked up 3 but ended up giving one to a coworker. Also got some prime brisket burgers.
  • @TideEggHead it’s delightful. I have no self control. It tastes like Christmas.

I replaced my 82" dip with a 75" LG.  So far I am very pleased with the picture and the price.

BJs has a 86” LG for Black Friday weekend for $2500. Between that and the 82” Samsung QLED it’s around $3k but may be lower for Black Friday.

Have owned my first brand-new car for just over 2 months now, and today I hit something.
Why did it have to be a skunk?!?!?

Yup. Sad to say I spend more hours watching guitar vids on YouTube than actual movies.

There is a joke I’ve heard out in your part of the country that this reminds me of:

Why did the chicken cross the road?

To prove to the skunk that it could be done.

@thetrim  did you actually read the above before posting?? Army dudes- cream sauce for the win especially in that 2x2 foxhole  =)
That posted- there is no doubt that @nolaegghead produced some great groceries.  He can spot anyone a fifth of Evan Williams and still hit a home-run.

Brent was looking for some cream sauce tonight. Something about a roadside walleye.

A few weeks back, I posted the above pic and someone told me I needed a bigger tv.
I listened. I am pleased (don't mind the cords. That is tomorrow's project)
