@SmokeyPitt - he rented it.  $100 through the weekend.

@DMW is the Meadow Creek yours?  New toy?  If my calculations are correct that is 22 butts.
@SmokeyPitt - Nope, not mine, rental again. $100/weekend included the 2nd tier grid and you return it dirty, cleaning fee included. For that price and as infrequently as I need it, and the fact I don't have room to store it...

There are 26 butts on there, 14 on lower grid, 12 on top.

Brisket stalling hard at 175, I have no deadline, so I'm going to just let it run.  275 dome currently.  Rain and lightning starting, glad to have a smokeware cap.
    Love you bro!

@Legume - a thing of beauty right there.  Most eggcellent.  I really don't care how it tastes as the fun ride is the cook.  Bonus for the banquet in my world.  And that may be a short-sited view.  But it is early Friday ;)

Just got back from the event.

Those pics were before it was finished, didn't get any when I was unloading and wrapping them.
Here it is being pulled by the Pork-Puller

Here's a shot I took of the crowd between pulling butts.

There was some leftover we packed into quart containers that they will sell at the auction. We overestimated the needed pork, as I didn't know they were also making hotdogs. They had 200 hotdogs that all went as well. Oh, well, they will sell the extra for additional funds.

And now I'm here in my basement, watching baseball and enjoying scotch.

@theyolksonyou   You know me...  Catch anything?   Looks like a great day to wet a line, but tough day to catch with low clear water.  Hope it was a good one!

@Sea2Ski no love. They stock that creek March to Labor Day, but that's our first time there. It was beautiful and freaking cold!  We'll hit it again in the spring. This was more of a scouting trip. More than anything, I just wanted to take him out. His little brother is an athlete and I spend more time outside with him. Had a little time today after work and jumped on it.

Just got a text from my buddy. They sold 45 quarts of of the pulled pork for $16/each. That's in addition to the donations for the meals tonight. He said everyone was complimenting the pork. We also got asked to cater a wedding next June.

Way to go!!   Very cool thing to do. $700+ will not hurt the cause!

@theyolksonyou  oh well. Still looks like a great day out.  I forget where you are, but if you have a bass lake and are in the Northeast, with the Indian summer we have had reciently, they are feeding like crazy before the water temp crashes.  2 hrs before sunset is prime. Gotta keep catching to keep kids interested, unless he is already addicted to it as you are to your egg.  (I hope so).
