@SGH VFW & The American Legion both have some decent vittles. We've been members (both my wife & I from the USN) for many years. Thinking we need to go out to eat there one night.

@NPHuskerFL and @SGH and others-we all appreciate your contributions and service. I will offer the following; I do lots of cooking at the local VFW and while we always get excellent marks with the food inspectors I do believe we get favorable consideration. That said, the grub gets great reviews. Thanks for the support.

I forgot to figure in a filler in a corner so the draws wouldn't open they hit each other. Had to return a 36" base and get a 6" filler and a 30" base. @lit they did the measurements and drawings so I'm going to try to get free installation out of it. The last delivery was 4 week lead time, so that sucks. For what I spent, I figure they should do the second install. Wall and base cabinets are screwed up drawing was correct.

Not this time. Lol. Just some drinks with the guys, her brothers and such. Woke up at 6 on the couch. I hate not being in my own house and didn't want to wake the wife up to pick my sorry ass up. She did text me asking though and was funny. Cause she came ripping out of the driveway in her house coat in the van to pick me up when she found out I was walking. But I was right at the L corner anyways. So she drove beside me like a pace car for the lady 2 minutes laughing with window open. No good stories. That brings back memories ... the track I mean. Participated in a charity there back in the early 70's and was able to ride a bicycle around the track. The banking is steep enough that the bike had to be tipped slightly for the upside pedal to clear the track.DMW said:At the Dover NASCAR race ...
