The spatch are looking pretty good. The baby got the ok to eat meat so these will be her first taste of meat ever.

I remember our first kid.  Doctor cleared him for meat.  We were super excited and told his great grandma who watched him occassionly.

She laughed and said she had been feeding him ground meat for over a month.

Guy called me a second ago wanting to start on my 1965 C-10 that was my Dad's.  Been waiting three years for this.  Not the best time right now financially, but I said screw it, I'd make it happen.  

Back story on this.  My dad bought this truck when I was about 8 years old.  My dad passed when I was 11.  My brother go into a wreck with it, but not much damage.  It was just parked and was never on the road again.  My mom gave me the truck when I was 16, though I have never driven it.  

Three years ago, I took it to start getting restored.  The first guy didn't pan out, but allowed me to store it at his shop.  Got another guy on track to do it and he said he's ready.  Thing is, I still feel so bad.  My Mom said jokingly to me "I'll never see that truck on the road before I go".  I tried to make that a point to get it done.  Unfortunately that didn't happen, but I do have that as encouragement.  I would feel so good to drive that truck for the first time.  I'd feel connected to my dad as well as my mom.

We cooked ribs on his brand new K-Joe. Man let me tell you the accessories on the Joe are awesome!  Rigs for two levels and a split stone. I have to admit its a way better set up then my egg with the woo.

The baby loves veggies and fruit but I gave her some burger the other day and she loves meat. She liked the chicken but she loved the burgers.
