@stemc33 ... oh yea, love the view.  Does the Longmire festival take place near you?
Yeah...About 20 minutes from my house. I've never been though.

Last night's Ribeye dinner was a great success, now I am just sitting around with coffee and the paper waiting for time to leave.

My wife and I are heading over to Daytona Beach this afternoon for a concert.  For my birthday she bought me tickets to the Alex and Sierra concert.  She also bought a VIP meet and greet ticket.

I found them on Youtube a little over a year ago.  They were the winners of the last season of the USA version of The X Factor.  A young couple from the Central Florida area that have been likened many times to a modern day version of Sonny and Cher.

Weather looks good for today and we plan to have dinner on the Daytona Beach Boardwalk before the concert.  Should be a pretty good day.

I hope the rest of you have a great holiday weekend.

I've never even read any of Craig Johnson's books or seen an episode of Longmire.

If you like mystery stories, you should give him a try.  A little like Robert B. Parker and the Jesse Stone series ... popcorn for the brain.

I have no clue who those authors are. The only reason I know the name Craig Johnson is due to all the hoopla about him.  I shouldn't tell people this, but I've only read about 10 books from cover to cover in my life. Mostly read magazines and sections of nonfiction books.

At the risk of the obvious, I am on the forum and posting.  That said, I have to fire up some ABT's today and then the home-run for the long weekend on Monday-SRF black (only drool about gold) brisket.  Many here have a much more eggciting life-enjoy it while you can.
Edit: streaming Hawaiian music and pounding some beers.

Just watched one toad chase another across my patio. The one in the lead tried to leave a huge sh1t slick and loose the chaser, but the chaser went around it.  The chaser was catching the lead as they scaled the boulder...  Nature is awesome.

@Ozzie_Isaac & @theyolksonyou ... vertigo?  I'm too busy laughing about Jason's belly showing up in the picture.  Me thinks he's been into the egging a little bit extra these past few months!

Trying to get my Fantasy roster ready and trying to decide what to put in my new Yeti Hopper 30.

This forum is a terrible terrible place.  I need to join a forum with much more frugal members.  No reason I couldn't be happy with a $10 foam cooler from the dollar store.

Granted I was put in a position I couldn't turn it down.  I was at a friends Ace hardware milling around and two different guys were looking at eggs.  One guy carried his Large, nest, handler, and plate setter out while I was still in the store.  The second guy was talking to my friend about prices for his purchase.

My buddy knows I have been eyeing the Hopper for months so he gave me a deal I just couldn't, in good conscience, let pass by.
